A Vacation For Reals This Time!

The Vangs have decided to embark on their seasonal vacation. Back to Selvadorada. This time they’re going for longer (since it’s not just me trying to fix a game glitch). Evan and Niks will likely explore the jungle again while Kenzie and Isla do whatever they want to do. Everybody’s way stressed out and tired of the grind, so this should help. Hopefully.

  • The twins have decided to use this vacation to reconnect. They haven’t been very active in one another’s lives since before Evan was born. They’re hanging out and chatting a lot, reading books, and dancing together.

Everybody bonding.

  • Niks is exploring the jungle and making some bad decisions. She has: tried to watch a Jaguar and fallen into a cave of bats, accidentally disturbed fireflies which bother some sloths, tried to distract the fireflies but made them angry – which then made the sloths angry enough to make tree branches fall onto her head, and gotten herself exhausted because she wanted to avoid some totems that looked nasty.
  • Finally, having some luck, Niks makes friends with some sloths and finds a relic. She and Evan make it all the way to the temple. Evan is not having such a great time. He forgot food, and can’t find a bush to fertilize.
  • Inside the temple, Niks gets to work exploring, while Evan passes out in a pee bush outside. When he wakes up, he discovers a bar inside, and makes them both energy drinks. He tries to go sit by the pool to enjoy his, but gets attacked by fire flies, and set on fire.
  • While Evan tries to figure his life out, Niks is busy exploring the place and solving puzzles. She has, unfortunately, contracted something, and been almost hit by a dart, and then actually hit by a dart, but she’s also gotten them further into the temple.
  • Niks has gained something called Ancient Joy, and apparently it’s contagious.
  • It’s night in the temple, and strange things have awakened. Niks has made friends with a skeleton named Boneita Esqueleto. And also she’s been set on fire by fire flies.
  • Niks has given Boneita a gift of a sugar skull. Boneita seems to really like this gift. She has taught Niks a skeleton joke in return.

  • The trio have decided to go for a swim.

  • Evan has been electrocuted a little by lightning bugs.
  • The power has been shut off back home because nobody remembered to pay the bills before they left. Thankfully cellphones exist.
  • The sickness has gotten to Niks. The lightning bugs have gotten to Evan. They’re both dazed in the middle of nowhere. This is probably bad. They’re wandering around in bathing suits, also.
  • Evan is not as into exploring as Niks is, he keeps hanging out at the random bar in the temple and dancing. He’s found a new dance partner by the name of Tibia Maximus. She is, like Boneita, a skeleton.
  • Niks has triggered something wrong, and it scared her so much she peed herself.
  • Isla and Kenzie are NOT enjoying their time here anymore, and it’s annoying Niks. She’s sent Isla home, ending her aunt’s vacation early. If Kenzie ever comes out of the jungle, I imagine she’ll be sent home too, since she’s moping around and crying.  Oh, nope. Evan did it first. Harsh, Evan, sending your mom home from vacation like that.
  • Niks has found her way to the heart of the temple! She has explored as far as she can, and has gained some pretty great rewards. She’ll study some things before she leaves, but she’s anxious to get back to a warm shower and a soft bed.
  • Aaaaand she’s been poisoned again. This time worse. She needs an antidote now, she can’t explore any further. Off to the library. At least it’s easy to order, but she really wanted to explore more. Can’t do that when you’re so dazed you keep dancing by yourself in the middle of an ancient temple.
  • Evan and Niks are spreading the Blessing of the Ancients like some kind of godly herp. Everyone they come into contact with is getting it.
  • Niks is going to need an archeology table when she gets home, she seems to be having a great time authenticating artifacts. Maybe she and Evan can share that office, and expand it some.

  • Back at their rented spot, cleaned, fed, rested, Evan and Niks are quite happy. They’ve taken some time to relax and woohoo before their vacation ends.

Change-up

The lot that the main house is on is big, but it’s proving to not be big enough. I’m trying to decide if I want to move them over to Brindleton Bay. I’m on the edge of the decision. I want more room. But I also want to take my house over there. It’s so ugly, and huge, and monstrous, and I love it. Let’s see what we can do.

Well. I got the lot all moved over, but now we don’t have enough money to move in. So I think I’ll try selling a bunch of shit, since I just copied the lot to where I wanted it, and it has all of our stuff in it.

Selling stuff did not help enough. I have razed the home on the new lot, and we’re going to try something else.

Broke Delilah off of the main household and used her to buy the lot where I want to be. I still don’t have the funds to place the lot.

Delilah is back with the rest of the family, I guess we’ll just work on getting the funds up? This is annoying. I made my house too expensive to move into.

  • Everybody is going to the GeekCon. Not everybody is going to be happy about this.
  • Evan went to space and did some space trading. He’s pretty excited about the venture, but got so sleepy that he took a nap in the middle of the GeekCon space.
  • Aging up is still off, especially now that I’m trying to move them all to a new lot. I just have to remember to not add anything to the house so it can stay the same space when I’ve finally got enough cash to do this.
  • Delilah’s royalties are almost out. She’ll be going as soon as they are.
  • Isla is actually sad about losing Dorian. I find this funny, considering how little she cared about him when he was alive.
  • Kenzie keeps cranking out Masterpieces. This is great. Every little bit helps.
  • Everybody is dying of overheating! WTF. I had to put in a thermostat to stop it from happening.
  • Niks and Evan have gone on a date to celebrate a Night On The Town. They’re going back to Chez Llama, and hopefully it’ll be a better time than it was when they were there with Abbie.
  • Evan and Niks have made their relationship official! The date was a disaster, the food was awful, but they’re still going to make a go of it. And since it was Night On The Town, the food was free, and nobody had to pay for that trash.
  • Niks got promoted on her day off. Now she’s a Minor Crimelord. Look at her, getting ahead when she’s not even there.
  • I gotta get Delilah out of here, she’s started to haunt and break things.

I finally got enough cash together to move the household. And thankfully, selling all the old furniture brought me back to about half of my savings. Which means nobody is going to die of starvation. I’m going to leave Lillie where she is for now, since I don’t want to lose the Goth house. They can go visit her there just fine. I did cheat a little and bring the money tree over, and since it was duplicated, I have two now.

Evan also now has a lab/office for his space stuff, which will be good for him to be able to be away from people when he’s working, since it’s been a hassle to get him any kind of privacy.

The new lot is so big, there might be a pool later, though I had originally thought a second basement indoor pool would be a fun thing to build, I might do one outside.

  • Everybody is settled, the welcome wagon has come to greet the new neighbors. It’s all good.
  • Abbie is all about trying to get Evan’s attention now that he wants nothing to do with her. Just goes to show that she really is a shit person.

All of the “retired” sims had a bunch of aspiration points that I used before I booted them away, and I was reminded that I bought a bunch of money tree seeds when I was redoing the house, so now Niks has a bunch more gardening to do.

I’ve also decided that I want to make Niks into a SuperSim. She’s going to get into everything and be completely awesome. I’ve never done this before, and I think she’s the perfect Sim to do it with.

  • With Dorian gone, somebody needed to take care of the store, so Kenzie went to have a go at it. She took with her a whole bunch of paintings that were kicking around (accidentally duplicated with the move because somebody said online that they wouldn’t duplicate with the house, so I saved them in the inventory).
  • Kenzie is much better than Dorian at selling things and making profit.
  • Delilah’s royalties have run out, it is time for her to go to the Netherworld and be with the rest of her family. (I’m really glad this happened before she started to get really into breaking things around the house.)
  • Dorian has shown up now that Delilah is gone. I might have to fix this.

Isla is stuck at work. I’m trying to figure out how to fix this, she can’t take care of herself, and I can’t get into her inventory. I’m making the family go on vacation to see if it’ll reset things. Here’s hoping I don’t have to make her quit her job. She’s the one bringing in most of the family money right now.

  • Off to Selvadorada. (it worked. She’s no longer stuck at work.)
  • Isla is the only one in the family who is afraid of thunderstorms. Too bad it’s storming like a mfer on their vacation. This is not going to be peaceful or relaxing for her at all.
  • Niks and Evan decided to explore the jungle on their own. Niks went rifling through somebody’s abandoned camp and got stung by a scorpion. Instead of trying to find a cure, she and Evan found a bush to WooHoo in. Priorities, am I right?
  • Niks has ended up with a spider infestation. Maybe doing it in a bush wasn’t a great idea, kiddo.
  • With Niks poisoned, everyone decided to go to the market to see if they could find her a cure. The market is, of course, right next to a bar. Guess what happened instead of finding a cure. This bitch better not die.
  • The family discovered that bone dust is needed to cure Niks. Or they can buy something online for it. Thankfully there’s a computer in the museum.
  • Welp. Vacation ended before they could get there. She’ll have to order it when they get home. Hopefully she can. Or maybe she can just go to the hospital. This is absurd. She keeps getting dazed, and then being okay, which can’t be a good sign. Also the green circles all over her body. Those can’t be good, either.
  • Oh good, she’s ordered the cure and taken it. Green circles are gone, and she’s fine again. Just in time for work.
  • Niks was promoted to DigiTheif. She is an Oracle.

I have given them a pool. It’s in the basement. I’m pretty fond of it, honestly. It took a while to put together, and I wasn’t sure if it would turn out okay, but I think it did. A lot of other things have been changed/added to the house since it moved lots, so I’m going to have to do a pictures post later.

  • Evan has been promoted to Astronaut. Go Evan! He also brought home a stray with him. It is not a nice dog. He’s still trying to make friends with it, though.
  • He brought it inside, gave it a bath, and then went to bed. Thankfully the dog did not stay around once he stopped paying attention to it. This is not the time to get a dog, EVAN.
  • Niks has the worst luck when it comes to getting hurt. She was out playing in the rain and got hit by lightning. Twice.

Getting Back To Routines (and the Main House)

First, I should note, that I found out I can copy a Sim from my library of creations and have them in another game. I think that I’m going to bring Lillie and Meryl over and set her up in a house so that my Main House sims can get interaction with her.

I needed to take a moment to reorient myself with who is doing what in this house. There’s so much going on.

  • When we begin our adventure, Evan is sleeping in the bathtub, Niks is on the computer trolling people, Dorian is asleep (I’d forgotten how old he is, he’s sure to kick the bucket soon), Kenzie is wandering around being miserable for some reason, and Isla is working on a new game.
  • Oh yeah. Kenzie is miserable because it’s Love Day and her boyfriend is a ghost, and she can’t have any of the interactions with him because he won’t come over during the day. Right. Right right right.
  • Love Day was a failure for everybody. To be fair, this part of the game got added when they were in the middle of a day, and they didn’t all have time to do the things they wanted to. Next time.

I’ve decided to get rid of the Ghost House so that eventually Lillie and Meryl can move in. I’m going to go about it slowly though. I’m going to move the ghosts back over to the Main House one by one, suck up their simoleons and then release them into the Netherworld.

  • Delilah has been moved back into the house. She’s got quite a few royalties still coming in, so I think it’ll be a while before she gets booted back to real death.
  • Since Dorian has taken a shine to woodworking, the family has decided to invest in a retail space where he can sell his stuff. They’ll probably sell other stuff too, honestly. But this will give him a nice little project, and maybe he’ll stop moping around the house so much. Isla sure isn’t interested in him at all anymore.
  • Well, that worked a lot quicker than I thought it would. He was pretty instantly cheered up and excited after I finished setting the store up.
  • Niks got promoted at her job, she is now a Petty Thief.

I disabled auto aging for a little bit. I want to get some of these activities on hold without worrying about a time limit. And I’m not ready for Niks and Evan to be adults. They need to get their careers in place, and figure out if they are going to be a thing. Plus, now that Dorian is actually happy for a change, I’d like to give him some time in his life to be that.

I pulled Delilah back into the ghost house, because she’s got so much in royalties still coming in, and Zechariah was pissing me off, constantly coming to the house and breaking all the shit. While good for Evan, since he needs to level up his handiness skill, it’s really irritating to every other sim who has to deal with water everywhere and potential electrocution.

  • I guess it’s because they aren’t officially dating, but Evan wouldn’t sleep in the same bed with Niks. He instead crawled into bed with Kenzie. His mom. He’s. He’s too old for this. Why is this happening.
  • Dorian has been churning out woodworking like crazy. It’s like he gets into a loop. Make one, get inspired, make another. He’s going to have so much inventory for his little store.
  • Zech is returning to the Netherworld. See ya. Thanks for possessing my shit all the time, you dick.
  • This, oddly, has improved Kenzie’s mood a lot.
  • Evan got promoted to Low Orbit Specialist.
  • Dorian had a smashing day at his shop. He did really good business, a lot of people bought things, and he had a great time. Unfortunately, his employee cost him more than what he brought in. Hopefully he’ll be able to change that as he makes better stuff woodworking, and his business gains positive reputation.
  • Niks got promoted again, this time to Ringleader. She’s doing really well at this job. When she’s not at work, she sleeps a lot, though. It’s weird.
  • Moved Alexander into the house. He didn’t have anything going on at all, so he got sent to the Netherworld really fast. Mostly because I’m anxious to get Lillie into the other house.
  • Lillie and Meryl have been added to the Ghost House, and Delilah has been moved back into the Main House. We’ll let her do her thing for a while, and let the royalties run out, and then she can go away too.
  • Niks and Evan have shared their first kiss. It was super cute.
  • I got Evan the free services perk, and it’s really cut down on the amount of money leaving the house. These people really need a maid. None of them clean, ever. EVAN. WHY ARE YOU PEEING AND DRINKING COFFEE AT THE SAME TIME.
  • For some reason, Delilah will not do anything on her own. She stands around after work hungry, tired, and filthy.
  • The family got a money tree, Niks has taken up gardening.
  • Dorian is way too tied up in the store, I kept him from it for three days so he could make some more stuff, and now he’s very very sad again. VERY sad. So we’re going to the store.
  • Niks was promoted again. She makes a really good criminal, I guess.
  • Dorian’s day at the store was pretty good. He made some sales, talked to a few people, and discovered that he cannot order a pizza to the store for some reason. He was very very hungry by the time he got home, but ultimately much happier. I’m kind of getting sick of him, though. Might let him die.

Pictures from the Main House

Here are some family pictures, since I realized that the Main House got a little ignored when it came to showing off the people.

Niks

Evan

Dorian

Isla

Kenzie

And now for all the house upgrades that have happened since the last time.

Because of Evan’s career path, he needed some basic things. “Basic”. Not like they aren’t HUGE AND COST A FORTUNE.

A third floor was added. With a room specifically for kids. Two, actually, because there’s a playroom over there too. Evan’s bedroom is in the front right corner here. Niks is sleeping in the back right bedroom. Because they won’t share a bed yet. In the top left corner you see a gaming rig, and I had to lock the door for everyone, since they wouldn’t go to work, or do anything, they just all played the game.

The master suite has stayed the same, mostly. I changed the tub to one from the vampires add-on since everyone was going all the way into the basement to have a bath.

Nothing much has changed on the main floor.

And the basement, where I have left another little bedroom for strays.

A Fresh New Day

Let it be noted that I was gifted with several of the Sims packs, so these adventures are going to get more interesting. Or “interesting”, depending on your point of view.

  •  Kenzie is still getting down with her dead husband. It’s a little weird.
  • Dorian is sad all the time now, I think it’s because his friends keep dying. Honestly, I didn’t know the dude had friends, he just hangs out at the house all the time, and doesn’t work. Maybe he was more social before he came to live in the Main House.
  • Dorian and Isla rarely talk at all anymore, and when they do, they keep bringing up babies. They didn’t want babies before, and now it’s too late. Isla is about to age up, and I’m not really in the mood to have a toddler running around with Elder parents.
  • Speaking of which, I think Dorian is creeping up to death’s door. He’s older than Isla. I should check on that.
  • Oh. Yep. He’s already an Elder.
  • Niks has been hanging out at the house a lot. Her and Evan get along really well. I’m glad I cheated a bit and made her up for him. She’s exactly the kind of gal that he deserves.
  • Seasons is a whole new realm of shit, isn’t it. Holidays and whatever. I don’t know if I can handle this.
  • Love day?
  • Oh no.
  • Isla and Dorian are not connecting on Love Day. She got him a gift, but he keeps walking away. He’s still moping around, I think because of his dead friends still, and she can’t snap him out of it.
  • Kenzie is super into the idea of Love Day and wants to DO ALL THE THINGS, but her boyfriend is dead and only comes over at night, and she can’t even get him on the phone to invite him over earlier. I’m kinda sad about this.
  • Evan asked Niks over for Love Day. They’re getting on great, except apparently she doesn’t like roses. He made it up to her with a book.
  • Despite not being official, Evan has asked Niks to move into the house. She gladly accepted. Man, I hope this works out for them, cause it’s gonna be real awkward if it doesn’t.
  • Niks has become very interested in researching vampires. VERY interested.
  • Evan prevented a space shuttle from blowing up at work, and he’s really stressed about it because his bosses are mad that he didn’t just launch anyway, but it was a good thing. The astronauts are alive because of him.
  • Isla has taken to focusing on her career, and pays little attention to Dorian. She refused a deodorant endorsement, and got a lot of fans for it, and she keeps winning online gaming tournaments.
  • Dorian, like an old man, has taken up woodworking.

How do I get these fuckers a cat? I need to figure that out.

Time To Catch Up

  • So Dorian and Isla suddenly want a baby. They’re both about to age up from adults.
  • Delilah and Zechariah have rekindled their romance after death and are married again. Oh yeah, and I set up a whole house of just ghosts.
  • As an adult, Abbie is not the kind of person I want for Evan. She’s erratic, mean, and a slob. I might cheat and build him a much better lady.

The last time I played was sometime after this, but I never made a Twitter update for it. I can vaguely recall what went on, so I’ll go ahead and make that my first official new post.

  •  I made two households, one with just the ghosts, since I kept pulling them in as playable. That house has Zechariah, Delilah, and Alexander.
  • The Main House got a massive upgrade. There’s a lot of space in it now for a thriving family. It still looks like it was a single room that was built up when money was gained, but that’s okay. We love it. It’s our house. It’s got Evan, Dorian, Isla, and Kenzie.
  • Evan is full on Young Adult now. Has a job. He’s a rocket scientist.
  • I decided to make him a brand new girlfriend, since Abbie was a really terrible person, and always seemed to drag Evan down when she was around. the new girl is named Niks Wright. She’s spunky and nerdy just like him and very friendly. I set her up in a pretty crap house, fully intending that she’ll just move into the Main House when the time comes.

Because of how long it took to get Niks set up, I didn’t really make a lot of progress in the game. But from here on out, there should be just fun updates!

I don’t even know what’s going on

MARCH 27, 2019

  • Kenzie is still doing well. Writing and painting, and raising little Evan. She stayed out of the dating game for a bit, but then one day when she took Evan to the park, she met Natalia. They hit it off right away, and they’ve been talking a lot.
  • Isla has really hit her stride, and progressed quickly in her programming career. She’s now an eSport steamer. She and Dorian have a very good relationship.
  • I don’t think either of them want kids, they always have crossed out baby symbols when they talk. They did have a VERY bad date, wherein both the friendship and love meter dropped significantly. They have repaired it. But wow.
  • Evan has done something no Vang has before, and made friends as a kid. Two! He was flirting with a little girl named Abbie, but it’s weird now since he’s aged up to teenager, and she hadn’t yet.
  • He managed to meet his aspirations as a kid, and gained the mentally gifted perk. That’s on top of Happy Toddler and Quick Learner. The boy is gonna be brilliant.
  • Unfortunately, he’s not got the Vang creative streak.
  • What’s also unfortunate is that since he’s become a teenager, every time Isla enters the same room as him, he becomes flirty. Isla. You know. His aunt.
  • Abbie aged up, finally, and seems to be really into Evan. Kenzie has started sleeping with the ghost of her husband. …

Family Matters

MARCH 8, 2019

  • I’ll start this out by saying Sims 4 does not have an inheritance mechanic. Which is bullshit. The last time I plated Sims, I know that the next of kin got things when someone died. That they’d remove that is silly.
  • So I’ve got everyone split into two households at the moment, to retain houses and fortunes. House A is currently the twins, Isla and Kenzie. House B is Ghost Mom, Delilah, and Alexander Goth. We had some twists and turns last night.
  • Let’s start with Kenzie. She’s decided she’s really into working out. I don’t know where this came from, but she’s always on the treadmill. She hasn’t found a job yet, but she also writes and paints all day, so there’s actual income from her.
  • She went full on in her black widow scheme, and got impregnated – on her first woohoo experience, mind – by Alexander. Shotgun wedding. He did not move into the house.
  • In fact, to make room for baby, Delilah moved in with him, leaving the twins the family home. But she’s still there. All the time. So much, in fact, I’m finding it hard to believe she’s still going to work.
  • Alexander spends an okay amount of time with Kenzie, but not nearly as much as he had been. And when he’s over, he putters around the house, and kind of ignores Kenzie, while she desperately attempts to get him to acknowledge that she’s pregnant.
  • When she finally goes into labour, he’s not there at first. He walks in midway through, and proceeds to freak the fuck out. Baby Evan is born. It is IMMEDIATELY evident that Kenzie is going to be a better mother than Delilah. She’s so attentive.
  • She doesn’t let Evan cry for even two seconds before she’s seeing what he needs. Thank the dark lord for that. Know who else loves baby? Isla. Also attentive! Alexander isn’t awful. When he’s there.
  • Evan has made it to toddlerhood, and that’s about where I ended it at 4:30am, so let’s have a peek at how Isla is doing.
  • So, remember how she is the dumb one? Peeing herself and passing out because she won’t leave the computer? She got playing around with programming, which seemed to turn her around. So I pushed her into a tech job. Guess who doesn’t pee on herself anymore?
  • In fact, Isla is doing really well. Not just at her job. Turns out, she is also really social. She’s got scores of friends now. Just oodles of them.
  • She likes going out, she likes meeting people, and she likes parties. Who knew finding her a career that makes her happy would have such an impact? (That’s sarcasm. We all knew.)
  • She met a gal at a party. Her name is Staci. It seemed for a minute that Isla abs Staci were going to have a romantic thing. I actually don’t know what happened here. They’re still friends, but the romance seems to have died out.
  • She did pick up another romance by the name of Dorian. Dorian is pursuing pretty hard. I think they met at work? I don’t know. Maybe Staci introduced them. He’s always at the house, though. Seems cool.
  • Isla has also, since Dorian showed up, taken an interest in running. And showering. I think I have to stop calling her the dumb one, now. She was apparently just a late bloomer.
  • I should also mention that Evan is not bothered AT ALL by the ghosts who are constantly hanging around.

Oh yeah. And I think Alexander is going senile. This is him with Isla. In her bedroom.

Aaaand this is him going outside.

This is Dorian, btw. He always walks like that?

  • Well. Alexander died. Right after they had another woohoo. That’s not traumatic or anything.
  • WAIT. WAIT WAIT WAIT. KENZIE JUST FLIRTED WITH THE REAPER.
  • Maybe… Maybe this was the plan all along. Maybe it wasn’t really ever about Alexander, he was just a means to an end? Can I actually pursue this? Can death be Kenzie’s boyfriend, or am I misreading their giggling?

Now With Pictures!

MARCH 1, 2019

Me: just gonna play Sims for an hour or so. Me, 4 hours later: *has achieved almost no story, but has moved house to bigger lot, built outbuilding, perfected sim outfits, rearranged house and bought new furniture.*

  • Okay, since there was a request, I’m back on the Sims bullshit to get some images of the house. Before I get started on posting that, I have some updates.
  • Getting Ghost Mom back into the family structure also brought back her writing royalties. Which means the twins are no longer in danger from their massive bills and lack of income. I wish this is how real life worked.
  • This means that the dumb sister doesn’t have to be married off now, and she can focus on her videogames. As if she could ever be PRIED AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER TO DO SOMETHING USEFUL OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE HOUSEHOLD.
  • This also means the smart sister’s apparent plot to marry the last Goth heir right before he dies to inherit his money is no longer necessary. I might let her see it through anyway. Just to. You know. No reason. I’m not into this black widow idea. What are you talking about.
  • I realize I may have neglected to mention this. She took up a romance with him despite my urging otherwise. She’s “young adult” age, and he’s “elder”. I can’t figure another reason why she’d be doing this.
  • Anyway. Pictures.

Here’s the exterior of the house. It started small, and I kept building on. I think it’s got a classic feel of “Hey! We have money now! Let’s add a room!”

This whole floor was built to help the parents get away from the children they didn’t take care of. Now it belongs to Smart Sister, Kenzie. I don’t play favourites, what.

Main floor, which includes the twins’ old bedroom, which now belongs to Dumb Sister, Isla. Yes, I even crammed her work space in there. I did change the shared downstairs bath to her en suite. I’m not a complete monster.

The basement offices and gym. The only way to keep my original Sim, Delilah, happy, since it kept roommate-turned-husband, Zechariah away from her. Seriously. Why did they want to get married so bad? Kenzie uses these rooms now.

Backyard mausoleum exterior.

Mausoleum interior. The extra urns are because when I moved the house, I did something wrong and it copied everything. They’re empty, and monetarily worthless, so I kept them as decoration.

  • All the paintings you see everywhere were done by Zechariah. There’s more that don’t show because I took these in build mode with the walls down. Getting into the spaces to show them off with the walls up is a PITA.
  • For all his faults – being gloomy, clingy, socially inept, I do have to say that Zechariah was a prolific painter. Most of the family fortune comes from the sheer number of masterpieces he cranked out. Or that I made him crank out. Whatever.
  • Is it sweet or weird that Kenzie AND her elderly boyfriend both just had their first kiss?
  • I swear to god if Isla pees herself or passes out from exhaustion one more time because she refuses to get up from the fucking computer, I’m gonna find a way to set her on fire. THIS IS WHY I CALL YOU THE DUMB ONE, ISLA.
  • Also, in death, Delilah and Zechariah have forgotten they were married, and are starting a new romance. I mean. Guys. You kinda failed at this once already.

It just keeps going.

FEBRUARY 28, 2019 ( this was more of a real-time update, I was posting as things happened.)

  • Sims update: The twins are in high school. Both of their parents just died unexpectedly. One twin was able to beg the reaper to spare mom, and then immediately befriended him. Mom died two days later anyway. Neither has a job. I don’t know if royalties keep coming…
  • Strongly considering marrying the dumb sister off to a rich family so nobody starves…
  • Well. At least the girls are better at parties than their parents. Maybe that means they’ll have more than 3 friends total between both of them.
