Pictures galore!

I have no  idea what this pictures is of, or why I took it. But here. Have it.

Niks and Evan looking at the stars like adorable little cuties.

Kenzie and Horchata watching the mouse hole right before I took it away because the cat wasn’t actually chasing the mice.

It’s Vidie!

Vidie and Niks playing together. It’s so cute I might barf.

Orange pushing Jack on the swings.

Vidie somehow put that bowl up there. I don’t know how. There’s no physical way she could have done it. I need things like this to be fixed.

Isla kidnapping Vidie. Standing in a corner of the yard, where nobody can see her. Like a weirdo creeper.

The kids playing pirate at the park.

Niks getting abducted. She had such a great time. I really wish that when they got abducted, we got to join them in some kind of adventure.

Everybody super sad about Horchata being missing.

Horchata riding the roomba after she returns, not caring that she made everybody completely miserable.

The twins getting ready to age up. All fancy in their party clothes.

Post age-up. They look so distinguished.

Also, it was Neighborhood Brawl during their party, so they celebrated together, and then fought.

Niks fighting Evan while the family watches, cheering them on.

And there’s Niks, getting yelled at by Evan, for flirting with Lilith, who is standing by watching the argument.

Horchata post-surgery in her adorable cone.

I love the cone. It’s really cute. I love Niks, she’s also very cute.

We have a cat!

Pre-posting edit: I will not be including any of the pictures I have in this post. I will make another post later that has all of them. I don’t have time at the moment to set it all up, but they will be put up, I promise!

  •  I started to feel bad that all the kids were running around with the name Wright, and Evan got no influence, so they’ve all been changed to Vangwright. This sets a dangerous precedent, though since the name is kinda long already, and there are future generations to think of.
  • Kenzie has befriended the cat enough to make it her pet. She had to jump through some hoops to get there, but she has a kitty now! Finally.
  • Jack is inviting Orange over again! Maybe she’ll pay attention to him this time.
  • I’ve aged Vidie up and given her the Charmer trait. She’s pretty cute. Can’t lie.
  • Orange is staying extraordinarily late.
  • AW. HE’S PUSHING HER ON THE SWING. It’s so cute. They’re totally going to be sweethearts.
  • Horchata is apparently afraid of the television.
  • I have removed the “cute” little mouse hole and the “cute” little mice. It did, indeed, become not fun, much like the Cow Plant. And the stupid cat wouldn’t chase them. So no more mouse hole.
  • Horchata has been sprayed by a skunk. I don’t know where the skunk came from, but now the cat is smelly and bothering the entire house.
  • Niks now has all the magic beans to open the portal, but I think she’ll wait for a little bit before it anything happens.
  • With all the baby stuff, Niks neglected her bees, and now they’re gone. I think they can stay gone for a little while. She’s too busy to deal with them.
  • I’m starting to be really bothered by the way that Isla is interacting with Vidie. She keeps taking her away from the activities she’s trying to do, and interrupting her time with her parents. She was just eating food, and Isla picked her up and took her outside, and now she’s standing in a corner behind a fence holding the toddler. It’s super weird. I hope that Isla doesn’t have plans to try to kidnap this baby or something.

Bouncing over to see the Lillie I brought into this sims save, since I haven’t done anything with her yet. She’s wearing all white and apparently quit her job? I don’t know. Back to the others.

  •  Aging has been turned back on, but they’ve got long lives. It’s making me nervous for some reason.
  • I’ve just remembered WHY I had aging off, which is to get Niks through all the parenting aspirations, so I turned it back off.
  • Horchata is apparently afraid of everything except the toilet.
  • Kenzie and Isla kept bothering Evan while he was trying to pee, and it resulted in him having bladder failure. The poor guy. He just wanted to pee.
  • Orange is coming over again!
  • Evan has finally taken a turn on the shark slide. He was the only one in the family for a while who hadn’t.
  • Niks has been abducted… right when she was finally meeting a vampire. That’s some shit, man. She’s been waiting to meet a vampire since forever, and now the aliens take her? WTF, aliens.
  • At least she’s really enjoyed being abducted. That’s good.
  • Vidie and Evan are both having a lot of trouble making it to bed. Like father, like daughter. They keep passing out every couple of steps.
  • Niks has taken up drinking fairly often. I think she’s bored. I don’t blame her.
  • The family had a nice day at the park, but it started to rain, everyone was okay with it except Kai, so they all came home. I guess Vidie wasn’t okay either, really, she passed out on the bench.
  • Kai is going through a mean streak phase.

Okay, got the parent aspirations as far as I can, so we’ll turn on aging for a bit until they get into high school, so I can get her past those, turn it on again when they need to age to young adults so she can finish it off. I know there’s something one of them about grandchildren, and something in another about getting married. I’m anxious to get this all finished off, because I want Niks to start having her own life again.

I think I will get her a new job though. Evan can be the stay at home dad.

(Interjection: Got the update for the design! It’s really nice. I like that my load screen is blue now instead of that blinding white. Also, I have purchased Get Together and Spa Day because they were half off.)

  • The family funds have hit one billion, technically. The money counter only goes to 9,999,999. I’m going to start stashing money in the store, though, hopefully when I move sims around the map to their own homes, they’ll be able to take some back from the store. Like money laundering.
  • Somebody else has been abducted. I think it’s Kenzie again. She’s gonna be so grumpy.
  • OH NO. Horchata ran away! I thought Kenzie was taking really good care of her, too! I shouldn’t have relied on her to just do it, I guess.
  • Niks is really sad that Horchata is gone. I’ve gotta get this cat back.
  • This whole house is really upset about Horchata. I didn’t think most of them even cared. Apparently they did, and they’re all massively depressed. Maybe all of you should chip in and help Kenzie care for her, then, if she comes back.
  • Niks has posted about the cat being missing, so hopefully that helps.
  • Jack and Kai are doing really well in school. But Kai is now going through a clingy phase. She’ll supposedly be sticking closer to her favorite caregiver for a while. It’ll be interesting to see who she feels that way toward.
  • Horchata is back! Everyone is so happy. Niks has given her some care, brushing her and giving her treats. Now the cat is riding the roomba, as if nothing ever happened.
  • Niks is going to a ladies night with Kenzie, she wanted to invite Isla, but Isla slipped off to work before there was any chance to. They’re going out with Lilith Vatore, who she has hilariously immediately begun to debate vampires with.
  • OH WHAT. Niks is flirting with Lilith. And Lilith seems to be into it! This is a little naughty. Evan is going to get jealous.
  • Horchata needs to go to the vet to get fixed. We are not having kittens in this house.
  • The kids are sitting at the pool chatting. It’s pretty cute. Also, I’m glad people are finally using the effing pool I put so much time into creating.
  • Oh no! Horchata needs to go to the vet for another reason, now! She’s been bitten by a squirrel.
  • It’s Isla and Kenzie’s birthday today, and there’s a big party planned, so the cat is going to have to wait for a bit to go to the vet.
  • It’s also neighborhood brawl. So this party should be fun.
  • Everyone is going to the park now that the twins are aged up and everybody’s had a bit of a fight with everyone else. Just realized it’s almost 10 pm though, so … this is a weird time to go to the park. Then again, Lilith invited them.
  • Niks is boldly flirting with Lilith IN FRONT OF Evan now. He did not like that at all, and now their relationship is heavily damaged. To the point that the option for divorce has popped up.
  • True to character, despite his anger, Evan is refusing to actually say or do anything to vent his anger at Niks. They’re making up, and hopefully it’ll all be okay.
  • And now he’s apologizing to HER? What the fuck. She’s the one who flirted!!!
  • Needing to get out of the house, Niks has decided it’s time for the vet. She’ll get Horchata well with a wellness treat, and then get her spayed so it can be a one time trip.
  • THERE’S A CONE OF SHAME OMG it’s so cute.
  • Lilith has called to ask for a date, and Niks has accepted. She’s not even bothering to hide it. She also hasn’t done anything to repair her relationship with Evan, though he’s still really mad, so it hasn’t been the right time to, I don’t think. Still, this will probably make it worse.
  • The date went really well.
  • Niks came home from her good date with Lilith and proceeded to use that flirty energy to make up with Evan. She’s got him about halfway back now, with all her enticing conversation. They’re going on a stay-home date now, hanging out around the house and having a nice afternoon alone. Maybe she can fix this after all.
  • But what about Lilith?
  • Their relationship is repaired. Niks and Evan are just like they were before Lilith. Which is good, but Lilith keeps calling.
  • Both girls have somehow missed school. They just didn’t get up and go, like it was a mutual decision to completely ignore what they needed to be doing.

Well. The game crashed as I was saving, and it looks like I lost about an hour’s worth of play. I have no idea what is accurate and what isn’t anymore. So. New post time, I guess.

And yet more baby. fuuuuuuuuuu

And today, hopefully, we’ll be focusing on aging up Kai, so that we can have room for a new baby.

  • HOLY SHIT. I just realized something. Jack decided she wanted to be a bear. The bear suit has an orange on it.

SEE. Then, THEN, she met a BOY named Orange. I think this is fate. I think that Jack and Orange are meant to be at least friends. I think I want to see if I can have them be childhood sweethearts, they can grow up and be together. Kind of like I was trying to do for Evan and Abbie, only maybe Orange won’t turn out to be a giant shithead.

  • Finally got Kai to the point of aging up. Went ahead and did the last bit of it on twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/darthrabies). It took a little while, and was slightly frustrating. She got really close and then stopped studying her numbers, so I had to force another interaction.
  • Orange came over to play! This is fantastic. Not that Jack paid any attention to him. She was too busy playing with her dollhouse and wearing her bear suit. BEAR SUIT. I love the bear suit.
  • While we were waiting for Kai’s birthday to roll around, Niks gave birth to the new baby. It’s another girl! Her name is Vidie. Vidie looks like Kai and Niks.

Niks and Vidie

  • After Vidie came into the world, a sitter was hired, and the adults went off to celebrate a Night On The Town. It was technically successful, even though they didn’t actually eat. They sat down, they ordered, and the food never got there. Isla had to go to work right at the start, and then Evan started to chat up the next table. After a bit, Niks also started to chat them up. I tried to solve the food problem with some cake, and that only sort of worked. I decided to force a journey home because they were at Chez Llama from 2:30pm to 11pm. That’s too long. This shit needs to get fixed.
  • When they got home, we got to formally meet the nanny that was hired to take care of the little ones. It was the same nanny that neglected Kenzie and Isla when they were little. She’s an elder now, and seems to be a little more attentive, but this makes me nervous. I wish I’d turned aging off AFTER she died.
  • At home, Niks tried to serenade Evan, and he walked away. (Then she later tried again, and he actually lost love for her. Jerk.)
  • There were some mild issues keeping Kai fed until she was ready for her birthday, I started to get afraid that she was going to get taken away right before she aged up. I would have been pissed off.
  • FINALLY. Time to age up the last toddler (except there’s going to be another toddler soon, cause I won’t keep Vidie as a baby long.) I set the event up before hand, so I didn’t have to worry about wrangling people or things. (There were some issues with cake placement, so I almost missed out getting Kai to blow out her candles. Ugh.)
  • Jack no longer wants to be a bear all the time. This makes me much, much sadder than I thought it would.
  • Kai is super cute. That makes me happy. I need to get her side by side with Jack to see how much they look alike.

Kai the birthday girl!

  • Because she’s a level 10 parent, Niks has this really fun skill where she can do really efficient infant care. It’s amazing. It makes baby having so much simpler.
  • Evan is apparently over the depression of quitting his job, he’s started to look after himself again, swimming and working out and painting some. This is a good thing, I was starting to worry about the boy.
  • Kai has decided she wants to be a ninja when she grows up. I’m proud of you, little one.
  • It’s really nice to see that Kai and Jack get along so well. They didn’t seem to when they were toddlers. There was all kinds of mood swings though, so it’s hard to tell.
  • WHY IS EVERYBODY EATING SPOILED FOOD ALL THE TIME. I swear this latest update broke something.
  • Kenzie has gone down to the beach, maybe we’ll find her a kitty this time.
  • Nope. Singing to herself.
  • And making friends with a dog named Asparagus.
  • THERE’S A TINY KITTEN ON THE BEACH NAMED TOFU. Oh, we’re so going to try to adopt this thing.
  • Oh no. Apparently Tofu is aloof, lazy, and a glutton. I don’t know if we want this kitten in the house. I think we’ll look for another cat.
  • Kai keeps making messes all over the house. And here I thought she was the good kid. The one who wasn’t going to be a problem. The quiet one. NOPE.
  • Okay, how about this cat, named Horchata? Let’s see what kind of cat it is.
  • It sounds like a grizzled biker lady who has spent all her years on a Linda Blair Exorcist diet.
  • Introductions are going… okay? I mean, the cat hasn’t walked off yet, which is what there’s been trouble with in the past. Let’s see if we can make friends, and take her home.
  • We’re going to have to age up this baby soon. Can’t take the baby stuff anymore.
  • Kenzie got the cat back to the house, she is not sick, so that’s good. First animal she’s brought home that hasn’t been. Let’s see if we can keep this cat on the property now.
  • Kai and Jack are doing really well in school. But neither of them are following their aspirations. I might have to force some interactions.
  • I know I should turn aging back on sometime soon, but if Kenzie makes friends with this cat, I want her to be able to enjoy it for a bit before she dies, and she’s so close to being an elder… she’s just been trying for so long to adopt an animal.

Some rando pictures:

I don’t remember if I posted this before, but it’s from the vampires. It’s gotta be the saddest painting ever. I found it on my phone, and felt the need to share.

Remember Delilah? There was a glitch one time where despite being a ghost, she appeared like this. I never inserted it into the blog. Now I”m doing it.

So uh… how are you, floating plumbob?

Kai has passed out in the kitchen during her birthday party. What a way to start your childhood.

Checking in

  • First things first, Evan and Niks need to go on a date. They need to get away from this house and the massive amount of people in it, and the kids. (and also because Evan is still stuck at work despite quitting his job.)
  • Kenzie has decided that she would like to play on the shark slide by herself. Also, it’s raining.

Playin with a shark in the rain.

  • YES. The cow plant has died. Thank the lord below. I cannot risk it eating anybody else. I will be keeping it as a decoration for the house, though. I think I’ll put it over by the graveyard. That seems fitting.
  • Getting Jack ready to age up, just have to finish her thinking skill, and then I’ll only have one toddler in the house. Except both Niks and Evan keep thinking about babies, and they both keep having baby whims. Ugh. Babies.
  • Isla and Kenzie keep eating spoiled food. I don’t know what’s happening here.

Babies that poop together …

  • Kai keeps dreaming about death. I don’t know what this means for the little gal.
  • I seriously cannot get over how very different these kids are. How does this happen? I’m anxious to see them aged up, to see if they got any features that link them to either parent that will stand out aside from skin color.
  • I’m mad that both of them want more kids, but I’m also not because they’re both so great with them.

Look at her with this toddler. Look. It’s cute. I hate that it’s cute.

  • Niks is buff AF right now. Holy wow.

Holy buff, Batman

  • It’s the day! The day that I will have one less toddler! Hooray! I mean, it’s Jack’s birthday, good for her! It’s her we’re celebrating, not our liberation from diapers and crap and crying and all of her effing mood swings!
  • Jack has aged up. We’re giving her the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration and Active for her trait. We’ve also really gotta fix her outfits, this kid is wearing some weird shit. She’s still a redhead, though, so that stuck.

Mom and daughter. No, really.

I jumped on stream to show people what has been going on with the family (especially how Jack is a redhead despite nobody else in the family having read hair), and it was decided that Kenzie should have an on-site vet clinic, since she keeps bringing home strays and they’re almost always sick, and then they wander off before she can get them any kind of treatment. So I guess Kenzie is going to be a vet now. I also made her a little living quarters in the basement, so she can have her own space. There’s no kitchen, because I would like her to spend at least a little  time with the rest of the family.

They’re a goth family, the vetpartment needed to have a gargoyle.

Here it is! The vet part! I love it so much.

And Kenzie’s new little apartment.

  • Kai’s favorite animal is apparently a cardinal. In talking to Evan about her favorites, the red bird kept showing up in her thoughts. It’s kinda cute, but I’m not sure where she saw one.
  • I love what a great dad Evan is, I can’t lie. He’s so involved with his daughter’s lives. I think he’s trying to make up for the way that Kenzie treated him as a kid, albeit it was much better than how her mother and father treated HER. So maybe as this family line goes, they’ll just get better and better at being parents.
  • I think maybe, just maybe, I can tolerate another kid for these two.

For some reason, they really like to gather here to have family time.

It seems that I wasted a lot of time creating this vet office/apartment (vetpartment) for Kenzie. She cannot treat the stray animals. She can’t do anything with any of it aside from treating pets, so unless I want her to have a dozen pets running around, this entire place is useless.

Back to the drawing board.

I feel really bad for Kenzie. I thought she was about to find something to really fulfill her needs. But no. No, I cannot do that, can I?

The vetpartment was remodeled on stream (twitch.com/darthrabies) into being a new bedroom for Isla. Kenzie’s room is still in the basement, but now the twins each have a space so they can be alone. The door is even locked to the rest of the family to give them some privacy. They don’t really need to be wrapped up in the growing family and all the kids running around. Especially if I give in and let Evan and Niks have their other kid.

Here’s Isla’s new room. Went all kind of spoopy for her. I really love it. I am really sad about the vetpartment, but if I can’t have that, this is good enough.

  • Kai is very near aging up, just have to work on that thinking skill, and she’ll be good to go.
  • Jack is on her way to her first play date. His name is Orange? Niks is allowing her to go over by herself, so here’s hoping she doesn’t get into trouble while she’s there. He’s apparently a rising star, too. SO isn’t this fancy.
  • His house is posh, and there are no toys, and I can’t see his parents anywhere.
  • Oh, maybe this Thorne is his dad.
  • This is not going well. There aren’t a lot of interactions she can do.
  • Jack convinced Orange to go swimming, and they finally made friends. Now they’re having a great time.

Jack and Orange.

  • She has stayed past her bedtime, but that’s okay. She met Octavia Moon, and Thorne Bailey, who are apparently huge stars, and they gave her dinner, and it was an okay time. Maybe Orange will be her friend more in the future.
  • Alright. Fine. We’re going to try for another baby. But this time, it’s happening in the rocket.
  • Jack is going through a Phase! She’s discovered her “spirit animal” and is now only ever wearing a bear suit.

The bear suit. It’s kind of awesome.

  • That’s it. Lauryn is no longer allowed in the house. She gets invited over, and the first thing she does is go break the dollhouse? Fuck that. Fuck you, Lauryn. You’re a toxic person, and you’re no longer welcome around the kids, or in the house, and I’m probably not going to let Kenzie hang out with you anymore. Niks is kicking her out.

Lauryn breaking shit, and getting kicked out. FUCK YOU, LAURYN.

  • I’ve given Jack Storm Chaser, cause I’m sick of everyone being afraid of storms. Now the only one left is Kai, and that’s reasonable.
  • EVAN JUST STOLE KAI’S FOOD. WTF EVAN.
  • Aw! Putting the mouse hole in the room brings in little mice! That’s so cute! (Why do I feel like this is going to go down the path of the Cow Plant, wherein I think it’s great until it’s an issue?)
  • Welp, Niks is pregnant.
  • Isla gave Kenzie a fish for some reason, and Kenzie identified it. It’s a guppy. This is great, but, where did Isla get the fish in the first place?
  • Jack is sad because she’s not in her bear form, but she keeps playing outside on the shark slide, so … can’t have it both ways kiddo.

Sad and playful at the same time. Poor girl.

  • Niks is having a real rough time with this pregnancy. More than the other two, she’s sick a lot, and she has to pee ALL THE TIME. I think that this will be her last one.
  • Aaaaand she’s soiled herself because she couldn’t get to the toilet in time
  • I’m really glad Sims can’t die from pregnancy. Really glad. This is super bad. I’ve never seen a sim be this sick while pregnant. She alternates being sick and wanting to vomit, and peeing herself because she can’t get to the toilet fast enough, even if she’s just been.

Now with baby

  • Evan and Niks are really good parents so far. I’m hoping this means the Vang family disregard for infants is ending.
  • Kenzie has roamed away from the house to … play violin under a bridge… for some dogs.

I can try, but I can’t actually be mad at her for doing this.

  • Kenzie and Isla have taken a little interest in the baby. This is surprising, considering how much Isla seemed to want a baby, I thought she’d be more into it.. I’m more shocked about Kenzie, who didn’t really take care of Evan very much. Though she was tons better as a mother than Delilah was.

Happy mama.

  • Jack has aged up! She’s now a toddler.
  • ..how is this toddler a white redhead.
  • Niks is happy to not be pregnant anymore. She’s back to playing in her garden, and her cow plant.

  • oh no.   OH NO … I wanted Niks and Evan to rekindle their relationship, since their romantic connection was going down since Jack’s arrival. I accidentally clicked try for baby. OH NO. Now she’s pregnant again. I wish I’d realized before they got down to the WooHoo. I could have stopped this.
  • Come on Niks, how are you going to give your kid chips for dinner? WTF.
  • On top of being pregnant, now Niks is also ill.
  • And also has morning sickness. This poor woman.
  • Evan has also gotten sick, so he’s calling out of work and hopped up on medicine. Of course, he’s not acting sick now that he’s home.
  • Jack is a very emotional baby. The slightest thing goes wrong, and she throws a fit about it. It’s very annoying.
  • The whole house is trying to carry on with life as normal, despite the new pending babies.

I might not be excited for having two toddlers in the house at the same time, but Niks and Evan are.

  • It’s another little girl! Her name is Kai.
  • Holy crap, these two babies could not look more different.
  • Evan is taking an active role in the parenting. I’m glad to see he did not pick up his parenting tips from his mother. Or his grandmother. Or his aunt. Maybe it was the nanny.
  • Evan has uncovered corruption at his job. Other Space Rangers are planting contraband on suspects in order to get arrests. He’s unwilling to look the other way and arrests a man he catches doing it. And then he decides it’s best if he resigns his post. He is no longer a space ranger.
  • Isla is officially the only one in the house that has a job now. She’s come a long way from being the one who wouldn’t get off of her computer long enough to pee.

Girls’ brunch. Isla couldn’t be assed to dress for it, obviously.

  • I have to move the baby out of the kids room. Every time she wakes up, she wakes Jack up. Then Jack throws a tantrum. I can’t take this.
  • The family now has over 6 million Simoleons. They are officially Rich AF.
  • With two kids, it’s been decided that the family needed to hire a gardener. There’s no way for Niks to tend to all the plants and two kids.
  • Alright, I just can’t take the baby in the house at all, so I’m going to age her up.
  • These toddlers look so different. I know it’s early days, and their features won’t really present themselves until they’re teens, but right now they don’t look remotely related. It’s so weird. Like I’m envisioning a Karen from Mean Girls moment happening in the lives of these children in the future.

Oh my god, Karen, you can’t just ask someone why they’re white.

  • HOLY FUCKING WHAT. THE COW PLANT JUST ATE EVAN.
  • Ohthankgod, he’s okay.
  • That’s some shit I didn’t know was going to happen. I might… I might need to get rid of the cow plant. It’s adorable, but if it’s going to fucking eat people…
  • Kenzie has decided to move into Isla’s room with her. I guess this is okay. It sort of feels like they’re lonely old ladies looking to each other for companionship, which makes me sad, but I’m not going to stop them.
  • Isla is being a little creepy with the kids. She keeps eating while sitting on their beds while they’re sleeping. It’s unsettling.

It’s amazing how much I hate having toddlers running around even my virtual house. I would not have made a good mother.

  • Evan has been having the time of his life taking care of his kids. This is a good thing.
  • There’s an illness going around the house, one sim gets it, then another gets it, and I can’t keep up with who has it.

Next time, I think it’ll be time to age Jack up. I decided that since I still have aging off, due to Niks goals, I’ll get the kids to full skills, then age them up. I think, too, that once Kai is aged up, there will be another baby or two. I want Niks and Evan to have three or four total. Big honkin legacy for them. Which makes me hate myself a little bit.

A Spring Wedding

It’s the first day of spring, and also the wedding day for Niks and Evan! They’ve been waiting for this for some time. Now it’s finally here! The chosen venue for this event is the park in Myshuno Meadows. There’s going to be a fair amount of people, but not nearly the amount that there should be (so there might be a little calling sims to the lot later).

  • Everyone hung around the house for a while, getting clean and settling in before the time of the wedding.
  • Isla removed the decorations from New Years, since nobody else had.  We had some other cleaning issues, of people just picking up piles of dirty dishes and leaving them elsewhere. Several of them went through the motions of being clean, without actually finishing.
  • Kenzie decided that she needed to play the violin again. Possibly for hours, until I put an end to it, I just couldn’t take it on the day of Niks and Evan’s wedding.

I did a house tour walkthrough, too. It’s still up temporarily on https://www.twitch.tv/darthrabies)

  • Time for the wedding!
  • Everyone gathered at the venue that we found because of Kenzie and Lauryn going on that strange midnight date in the middle of winter, in San Myshuno.
  • In order to get the main goal out of the way, Evan and Niks were urged to get married quickly. It took some effort, trying to get the people over there to watch, and both Evan and Niks at the altar at the same time. Eventually we managed it though, and they had a very cute ceremony complete with fireworks.

Evan walked away from the altar after the wedding started. Thankfully, he just wanted to listen to the piano a bit.

Evan and Niks are married, finally! This was a long time coming. They’re both insanely happy.

A gold lady taking a nap during the reception. She didn’t used to be gold.

  • There was food and cake after, and Niks very cutely fed Evan some cake and I didn’t manage to get a picture of it. It makes me sad.
  • Everyone finally went home once the wedding was over, but Niks stood around in her wedding dress in the rain, sang a little bit, played on her phone a little bit, and then finally went home.
  • Once they rested a little, Niks and Evan went on a vacation to Granite Falls to seek out the hermit.
  • It should be noted, at this point, Niks was still wearing her wedding dress. She continued to wear it for most of the honeymoon.

Niks wearing her wedding dress while she plays horseshoes in the rain.

  • It should also be noted that Evan kept falling asleep on every bench and couch that he walked past.
  • They stayed in a cabin instead of actual camping, and Evan promptly went to nap on the bench right outside, couldn’t even make it in.
  • THERE’S A GUY IN A BEAR SUIT!

  • Niks took the opportunity to explore, finding a map and some bugs. She went all over the map, got some supplies at the little hut, ready to explore the woods.

It took some time, and help from my viewers, but finally the Hermit entrance was discovered.

  •  Niks found all the right twists and turns to get into the secret place, and met the lovely hermit lady. They were having a pretty nice time chatting, and Niks decided to talk to plants. Through this she gained the herbal remedy skill.

Niks and the hermit. Poor hermit. Driven out of her own house by inconsiderate newlyweds.

  • We brought Evan over to where she was, and they kind of took over the poor Hermit’s space. Treating it like a bed and breakfast. The hermit eventually decided to leave the area herself, since the pair weren’t going anywhere.
  • After some more exploring, and taking care of themselves, Niks and Evan decided to try for a baby. In the hermit’s house. Like weirdos. Their attempt was successful, and now Niks is eating for two. And peeing for two. And exploring unknown areas for two. Alone. Without her husband.
  • They cleaned up their mess, and finally the vacation was over.

Time to get them back to a normal routine.

  • Everybody but Kenzie has accomplished their New Year’s resolution. There are no longer any romantic feelings between Lauryn and Kenzie, which is for the best. I fully believe that Lauryn was a destructive influence. Kenzie is already in some kind of deep funk, she doesn’t need somebody like that in her life. I think it’s better for her to be stressed out about not finishing that accomplishment and maybe being sad about it, than trying to re-ignite their relationship.
  • Niks is super pregnant, and has had a lot of issues getting to the bathroom on time. It’s kind of heartbreaking.
  • She’s also growing a cow plant, which will not only finish her aspiration, but also make me very very happy.
  • WAIT WHAT. Niks has gone into labor! This is too early! The last notification I got was that she was in the second trimester!
  • Evan has run away from the situation.
  • And it’s a baby girl! We welcome little Jack Wright into the world today.
  • Now that the baby is born, Evan is all about it. He’s rushed right in to care for her and calm her down.
  • Isla has earned another raise! Get it, girl.

What a busy day. A wedding. A honeymoon. A new baby. What will happen to these poor sims next?
